Summer, 2020. The height of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Some bake bread, some learn to knit. While everyone's sitting at home, I decide to increase the amount of seating available to me in my apartment (albeit at scale).

I've always loved miniatures; inspired by the Vitra Design Museum Miniatures Collection, I wanted to create a set of my own scale chair designs. This was an opportunity to develop my model-making and furniture design skills – without the need to access a workshop during a full-blown lockdown.

Armed with nothing but foamcore, cardstock, time and a love of Scandinavian, Taiwanese, and Japanese furniture design, I get to work.
